ISLANDS Platform Trading Rules

Please carefully read these Trading Rules (hereinafter referred to as the "Rules") in their entirety before submitting an order, and ensure that you fully understand and accept these Rules before trading. Before accepting these Rules, please carefully read all terms, especially those in bold, such as those regarding exemptions or limitations of liability, applicable law, and dispute resolution. If you disagree with or do not understand these Rules, you should cease trading. Continuing to trade will be deemed as your acknowledgment and acceptance of all terms and conditions.


Article 1 Transaction Model

1.1 Idle Trading: The ISLANDS platform provides users with an online platform for trading, facilitating the exchange of idle goods/items, and distributing information, enabling independent online transactions between two or more parties. To promote a green and circular economy, under this model, the ISLANDS platform provides users with services related to the circulation, recycling, and exchange of idle goods/resources.


Article 2 Transaction Notices

2.1 When purchasing products on the ISLANDS platform, please carefully review the product description (including but not limited to the name, price, quantity, model, specifications, dimensions, availability, product defects, purchase and/or usage restrictions, and other important details) and the Buyer's Notice.

2.2 [Delivery method: Mail only] Please ensure that the contact address, phone number, and recipient information you provide are accurate and valid. Please verify this information before requesting shipment and promptly update any changes to your delivery information. You will be solely responsible for any losses resulting from incorrect addresses or other personal reasons.

2.3 To ensure smooth transactions, during transactions on the ISLANDS platform, you agree and authorize the ISLANDS platform to collect, store, and use your recipient's name, contact information, delivery address, and other logistics information to the extent necessary, and to provide such information to partner logistics service providers to fulfill delivery obligations. The ISLANDS platform will strictly comply with laws and regulations, implement reasonable security measures for such information, and will not use this information for purposes unrelated to the transaction or disclose it to unnecessary third parties without your prior consent.

2.4 Please complete payment within the specified timeframe after placing your order. If payment is not received within this timeframe, the ISLANDS platform will automatically cancel your order. Different transaction services have different specified timeframes; please confirm the specific timeframe carefully on the order page. After placing an order, the buyer must complete payment within 24 hours. If payment is not completed within this timeframe, and the item has been paid for by another user, the order will be automatically canceled.

2.5 Shipping and Refunds

  • If the buyer fails to pay and the seller does not respond promptly to our messages, we recommend that you choose another seller.
  • If the buyer has paid but the seller has not confirmed shipment, the buyer's funds remain under the platform's security protection:
    • If the seller does not respond for an extended period, the buyer can contact the platform's customer service, who will notify the seller for prompt processing.
    • The buyer can proactively request a refund. If the seller does not respond within 48 hours or has not shipped the order, the platform will refund the order.
    • If the buyer has paid but the seller has not shipped the order and there is no further action from either party, the platform will automatically cancel the order and refund the money after 150 days.

2.6 Delayed Delivery

  • Buyers who have not received their products within 10 days of shipment may request a delayed delivery.
  • Sellers may request a delayed delivery only after 5 days have passed since shipment.
  • Requesting a delayed delivery can help avoid potential losses caused by automatic confirmation of receipt.

2.7 [Delivery method only: Mail] Please pay attention to the delivery information of your purchased products. If you do not receive your products within the expected timeframe or if there are any quality issues with the products, please promptly submit a feedback to the ISLANDS platform.
For physical goods, if you do not raise any objection within 10 calendar days from the date the seller ships (based on the date the seller updates the shipping logistics information on the ISLANDS platform), the ISLANDS platform will assume that you have confirmed receipt of the goods and the corresponding order has been completed.

2.8 [Applicable only to face-to-face delivery methods] If the seller does not confirm the order within 24 hours, the system will default to canceling the buyer's order. For physical goods, if you do not raise any objection within 7 calendar days from the date the seller confirms the order, the ISLANDS platform will assume that you have confirmed receipt of the goods and the corresponding order has been completed.

2.9 [Applicable only for face-to-face delivery] The face-to-face delivery address indicated on the order confirmation page is the seller's preferred address and is for reference only. The actual transaction address will be determined by communication between the buyer and seller. To protect the personal and property safety of both parties, we strongly recommend that the face-to-face delivery address be set in a public, well-trafficked location and avoid remote areas.


Article 3 Miscellaneous

3.1 These Rules are formulated and publicly announced by ISLANDS. ISLANDS reserves the right to adjust and modify these Rules and will enforce them after posting them to users on the ISLANDS platform.

3.2 Please read the clauses highlighted in bold throughout these Rules carefully. Clicking "Register" or continuing to use the Platform Services will be deemed your full acceptance of this Agreement. Please confirm that you have read and fully understood all of these Rules before clicking on any further information.
